Braid

I was playing Braid over the last week, since it was on sale last weekend on steam for 4.99 (It's currently 14.99 again though, and abit more on XBox Live) It's a very fun game, with each world having a different way of manipulating time and objects to collect puzzle pieces on the protagonist Tim's search for the princess. It starts off pretty easy, just a simple platformer, but as soon as you die you learn to reverse time which essentially makes you invincible as you can undo any mistakes you make. Despite not being able to die, the game is not so easy, as you need to collect puzzle pieces to complete the picture for each level, which extends the ladder towards the attic in Tim's house. If you can't figure out how to get some of the pieces you can still complete the levels and progress through the worlds, and return later on to finish them. ...Read More

Hooray. New hosting for my sites, which should hopefully be faster and more reliable. So far Toasticle is up (since it's easy and just the one page) and gnome-hovel is up and running apart from a few scripts that only I can see anyways. Undeadly still needs to be updated.. so it's there but not functional, but I will be working on it tomorrow. ...Read More

It's been quite awhile since I've made any sort of post. I've got some news though    I made a dice game, Farkel (wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farkle) which is what i've spent the last few days working on, and it is pretty much complete now. There is an explanation on how to play on the page and a high-scores board as well, you just need to enter a username, password and your email address to sign up and start playing. (I still need to do a password retrieval form, and I might also do a guest play option) ...Read More

This definitely deserves to be mentioned, and if you havn't watched Firefly and Serenity yet (In that order) go do it now. "The Big Damn Replica" is a very pretty replica of the ship Serenity from the too-short TV series and it's movie sequel. The replica measures 19"x12"x7" (1:180 scale) and is made from over 250 parts and 30 different paint colours used. Only 500 of will be made and Quantum Mechanix will be taking orders starting on the 30th of September 2009. Of course, it will almost definitely be expensive but I still really want one (with the lighting system) so I'll be waiting to find out the price.   ...Read More

I'm finally done the summer semester at university. I've decided that I'm not going to continue for now (mainly because I want to move to Australia soon) so for now I need to find a job. But since that isn't entirely easy I can work on my websites in my freetime now ...Read More
