Too much has been going on so I havn't made a post or even done work on websites in almost a month now.. three weeks ish? I'll start with the zombie driver news, it's going to be on sale this week for 50% off! Lightwindow, the image and media modal pop-up used on this site, was created by Kevin P Miller of what use to be stickmanlabs.com. I am not sure what happened to the site, it's been down for some time now. LightWindow is freely distributable under the terms of an MIT-style license. The information here outlines how to use the script and the files are available at the end of the entry, all of the information was taken from pages of stickmanlabs on The Wayback Machine for the purpose of preserving the script. ...Read More

I've got my work-holiday visa approved! It really didn't take long and now i'm very excited. I've also ordered the Pentax k-x camera off eBay, which should be here in a week or two. It was $570 CAD after shipping, about $100 less than Newegg, and $200 less than Futureshop had it listed for, so despite it being expensive i'm still happy with the price. Especially considering when I bought my Pentax Optio S6 (6MP point and shoot digital camera) I got it for $300 and was still saving at least $100 at the time, possibly more. ...Read More

I'm pretty excited about it now, just 11 weeks of work left and 91 days until I should be in Australia! I've got my application for the work-holiday visa submitted, which will let me stay and work in australia for a year, and as far as money goes I think I'm going to be ok, just have to keep track of spending for now and not make any impulse buys, but that is pretty easy to do. ...Read More
