I've finally tried the Plants vs. Zombies demo and it's really good! I've decided it will be on my waiting list as well until it goes on sale on Steam along with the three games in the previous post. Your goal in the game is to protect your house from hoards of zombies, which are making their way slowly across your lawn, by planting an army of mutant plants to fight back. There are many different types of plants and zombies that you encounter, some stronger or faster than others for the zombies, and the plants provide you with different strategies for survival. The game is $9.99 USD on Steam, but I'll be waiting for a sale before I get it (probably).
"Zombies are invading your home, and the only defense is your arsenal of plants! Armed with an alien nursery-worth of zombie-zapping plants like peashooters and cherry bombs, you'll need to think fast and plant faster to stop dozens of types of zombies dead in their tracks. Obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool add to the challenge, and with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!" - steampowered.com

There are currently three games I want to get on steam, which aren't particularily expensive ($10-$20 USD) but I have enough games right now that I'll try to wait for them to go on sale before I buy them. My most recent steam purcahases were Torchlight ($20), which wasn't on sale but was definitely worth the money, and QuantZ ($2.99) which was on sale I think as a midweek madness sale.
The first game is Osmos which is a nice looking game along the lines of an "eat and grow" kind of game but not quite the same as it has it's own additions that make it more challenging, such as other particles getting bigger and you also lose mass as you propel yourself around. It's got a nice and relaxing soundtrack and gameplay to match, you have to take your time and drift alot to prevent losing mass and being consumed by the other particles in the field.
"Your objective is to grow by absorbing other motes. Propel yourself by ejecting matter behind you. But be wise: ejecting matter also shrinks you. Relax - good things come to those who wait." - steampowered.com
Zombie Driver is a game that doesn't run so well on my laptop due to weak graphic card abilities by intel & toshiba, but the game is worth playing even if I have to close almost every other program just to minimize lag. You basically get a car and are given mission to rescue people from hoards of zombies in the city, which you do by running them down in a big bloody mess, or shooting them with weapon upgrades for your car. You can even unlock a bugatti veyron sports car in the demo (which should be in the full game of course)
"Fight your way through the streets of a zombie infested city to save the survivors of a disastrous chemical accident that changed most of the city's population into mindless brain hungry monsters. Time is your enemy and your car is your weapon as you race through the streets smashing everything on your way including fences, phone booths, street lamps and hordes of zombies. When the gruesomely mutated zombies become too much to handle, buy a new car or get more guns and upgrades installed. You can earn more money for finishing side quests, making kill combos and searching for hidden prizes. Game play is unrestricted and the player can freely roam through the dark streets, alleys and backyards searching for the best shortcuts or hidden power ups." - steampowered.com
And finally is Machinarium a point and click adventure game, with some very nice looking graphic styling. There isn't really any spoken words just pictures in speech bubbles used as a general guide to what you should be doing, it begins as a small robot gets dropped into a trash pile away from a large industrial/robot city, he puts himself together and then makes his way back. The demo doesn't go much further into it than that but it's a creative and fun puzzle game and if it goes on sale I think it will definitely be worth getting as the regular price of $20 USD seems abit high for this one.
"A little robot who’s been thrown out to the scrap yard behind the city must return and confront the Black Cap Brotherhood and save his robot-girl friend." - steampowered.com

The 40 eBay auctions that I listed are ending today, so far only three have bids on them though. I'll be happy if at least half of them get a bid, and very very happy if everything goes. It will just bring me that much closer to going to Australia. I've also got Batman: The Brave and The Bold toy sets, of "Batman Vs. The Clock King" up for sale which end in 24 more days, there are six brand new sets available so far for only $17.50 each so i'm hoping they'll sell before the listing expires as well. This will be the last chance the eBay auctions though, so if you're reading this help me out and bid on something you like!

I ordered the Nakiworld G-Pak DS game case off ebay (since I couldn't find anywhere around here that sells it) and it came in today!
It's got space in the top panel for 30 DS games, 15 on each side, as well as for 6 gba games but I am not using that space because with them in the velcro doesn't hold the panel up. The DS games are a little bit of a tight fit in some of the slots (one of the egde ones ripped a little bit of the mesh on the other side) but they're easy enough to get in and out even when it's full because of the way they overlap. I've got most of the GBA games along the right side, the dividers are adjustable so I was able to set the width of each space. On the left side I've got my NES mint tin which has two Pokemon GBA games that didn't fit on the other side, as well as a usb charger for the DS, and finally in the front pocket is the regular charger in case I ever need it.
